Hong Kong's daily dumped garbage is increasing and landfills are near saturation, so resource recovery is a sustainable strategy. However, in recent years, the local recycling industry is facing various challenges such as high rental costs, lack of operational norms and lack of safety awareness. The Environmental Impact Research Centre of the Pearl River Delta of the Hong Kong Baptist University, supported by the "Industry Support Scheme" of the Recycling Fund, carried out the "Enhanced Recycling Industry Capabilities - Operational Guidelines and Knowledge Transfer Project". We use the questionnaire to understand the operation process of the industry, promote the development of the local recycling industry through forums and sharing sessions, organize overseas study tours to increase the introduction of foreign advanced technology and concepts by local recyclers, and write operational guidelines to strengthen the recycling industry. Operate security awareness and enhance the local operating environment.
